Super Mario Bros.: The Corking Mission to Rescue Princess Peach! (Japanese: スーパーマリオブラザーズ ピーチ姫救出大作戦!, Hepburn: Sūpā Mario Burazāzu: Piichi-hime Kyūshutsu Dai Sakusen! ) is a 1986 Japanese blithe run a risk comedy movie, based on the Super Mario Bros. video game. Shortly afterward, Mario discovers a small necklace that Toadstool left on the floor.
The next day while he and his younger brother Luigi are working at a grocery store, they realize the necklace that Toadstool dropped becomes a matter of concern for Mario. Luigi then regards it equally the "Visionary Jewel from the Country of Treasure". Presently, Dumpling Dog, a pocket-sized dog-like entity, wanders into the store and snatches the necklace from Mario, prompting him and Luigi to pursue him into the Mushroom Kingdom.
When the Mario Bros. arrive, an mushroom hermit admits that King Koopa has taken over the kingdom and is turning the helpless citizens into coins. He besides reveals that Fri the 13th is the marriage between Male monarch Koopa and Toadstool. Haru admits that information technology was Rex Koopa who turned him into Dumpling Dog. Production and release [edit]
In 1986, Mario was already popular in Nippon, so Grouper Productions collaborated with Nintendo to produce a Mario movie. To annunciate the anime, they released Mario telephone cards, watches, rice containers, ramen noodles, a manga, an art book, three riddle books, a picture book, and an original soundtrack released on both vinyl & cassette. On July twenty, 1986, the anime came out in theaters beyond Japan. VAP Video afterwards released the motion picture on retail VHS and Betamax cassettes in Nippon. There have been no international releases, and no DVD or Blu-ray releases.[iv] In July 2021, Carnivol released a scan of the 16mm film on YouTube.[5] In the description, Carnivol appear that restoration group FemboyFilms will restore the film in 4K.[half-dozen] FemboyFilms released their concluding 4K restoration on April 16, 2022.[vii] [eight]
